AR10T.com vs. Google.
So Google decided today to ban my Google Advertising Network account which is where the Under Armor, Cabelas, etc. ads come from.
Advertisers pay a portion of referred sales as a commission.
After reading extensively (because Google Advertising Network does not have a phone number) I found the reason I think they are using:
Interestingly, Google sources ads from firearms companies, component, knives, and stun guns all the time!
So I'm not sure how Google Can display these ads but then prohibit sites from having content relevant to the ads.
How great would it be to get a class action lawsuit together to go after the mighty Google for pulling a quick one on little ol' me.
What I love is I now can't even log in to my account to see what the commissions have been.
I used to be a huge fan of Google. Looks like they are turning against the gun industry too!
But if this is the reason they probably kicked other firearms sites from the program long long ago.

They threw in the lovely line on their email,
I'm gonna as a friend who works for Under Armour to put me in touch with their affiliate manager. See if that can get anywhere.

I know you guys don't know me very well and with my bajillion posts on here it's probably hard to imagine but I don't really communicate with the "outside world" very much.
Thinking about our site having it's funding cut is kind of gut wrenching to me right now.
I REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY hate the thought of it.
It's really bugging me and if this place goes, I'm probably just gonna say screw it and go back to mindin my own damn business full time again.
I finally find a place I like and poof, they do their best to put us out of business. I can't even tell ya how disconcerting I find this.
