My confusion is that this appears to only be on the .30 cal acogs. I was scratching my head until I saw his pic. Still not sure how 10 meter would work that far below the chevron.
Think back to MG qualification. You established a 10m zero, then fired at the tables on the 10m target from the tripod with T&E. Then did transition fire. IIRC, the elevation used for zeroing was 500m on the range scale.
When mounted to an M240, the gunner zeroes the scope at 10m using the 10 mZ line, then uses the chevron/dot and holdover lines as usual.
