Sis no its a WASR that we have done some work on. I have been totally impressed with it since we did a couple of mods. My son has aspirations of being a collector, I told him it works great til you get married and life gets in the way.

Isn't that the truth. Have not been to the rifle range since getting married. Don't think I've been to the pistol range either. Used to take my wife shooting when we were dating ... got married and now all my junk takes up space and needs to find a new place.
I still don't understand why the dining room table is not considered a great place to clean a rifle.

I have an Arsenal. Very impressed. I was shooting it yesterday at 200 yards. Wasn't putting the groups my HBAR was, but with standard sights was putting everything in a torso sized target from the standing position.
mlotzii- I was unaware of the new ruling (dining room table of limits)thank god you told me. I would really hate.............. wait a dowg gone minute where am I gonna clean my rifles then. LMAO
Sis- the sons WASR is really a solid 3moa gun with a reflex site. I was never really impressed by them until he got his. A local gunsmith showed us how to do the mods, he had a rack of 10 with various options. I now have a lot of respect for what they are. I just like the mountain tribes of Astan think every young man should have a AK and judicious amounts of ammo on hand for proper development of shooting skills.

Perhaps that's the downside of having all girls M. I've got two VERY outdoorsy boys and heck, I clean everything I have at a card table in front of my recliner with the tv on. My boys have little folding chairs and they come over and practice assembly and dis-assembly drills while my wife just nods her head and says "we gotta get you a garage someday" and then I look at her all serious and say "but Honey, if I was in the garage, I wouldn't be able to peak at your butt while pretending to be checking the cleanliness of my bore"....
So far, the flirty approach has held up pretty good...

There is a reason there is 100+ million of them worldwide.
