Made it to the range shooting off a couple of sand bags. Getting the scope sighted in at 100 yards. Federal fusion ammo. Finally got lucky the last shot and called a day.

With a start like that I bet you'll see some 1 moa groups, pretty damn good for the money!
No function issues?

I hope to do better, I could not use my lead sled because the mag. would not clear the rails. Guess I need some 10 round mags.... :) Rifle ran fine, no malfunctions, I think the only malfunctioning thing is the operator.... :rotfl:

Operating smooth out of the box like that I'd bet you have a winner, shoot the crap out of it! :twothumbs:
I use 15 round and smaller on my lead sled, the 20 will just fit but I have to adjust everything way up with no room for weight and then take the rifle out to insert or remove the mag.

Nicely done!

I might be inclined to say I was green with envy (if I suffered from that affliction), but I'll leave it at this...
You spent a lot less than I did and, assuming ten rounds, shot some initial grouping worthy of FBI standards...is that four rounds at 1/4 L and 3/4 U?!?

Thanks funfred, I was shooting 3 at a time, 9 shots total on this target, 3 shot group...like my Dad used to say "Ole hog root long enough, bound to find a acorn every once in a while" :rotfl:

Okay, now I gotta know...What's your dad say about honesty? ;)

As others have opined, there's nothin' wrong with that rifle. You can tell by the lateral string, that's all shooter.

I'll be in your shoes shortly. I'm goin' from a tack-drivin' .308 bolt gun to an AR10.
I've never been satisfied with the groups from my semi-rifles. I'm hopin' to apply whatever I learn from the AR10 to my my other semi-s which, more or less, I just used to spray the countryside. It's totally me, not the guns.

Ironically, when it comes to pistols, I can shoot semi-s, on target, all day long...
But a revolver? Fuhgeddaboudit. Can't do it. <shrug>
