I feel like a Yugo in Cadillac lot, but here is my little .308 cabine.

That's no Yugo, just the start of a fine custom street rod :twothumbs:

:I-agree:
It is not the cost of your firearm, it is what you can accomplish with it. It isn't a Yugo. What is it? DPMS? S and W? I haven't blown up the image so I can't tell. Looks nice and handy. How does it shoot?
Plus that is a mighty fine optic on top of it.

It was a kit from Palmetto State Armory. PTAC, I was worried because I read on another forum that PTAC had quality control issues, but I must say that the fit and finish rivals their high quality rifles. I just received the lower this afternoon but I am going to try to get to the range tomorrow or the next day. Total invested: $1185 which includes rifle kit, lower and transfer fee, scope and mount, 3 magpul magazines, and shipping....

I read that as well, but looks like you may prove them wrong.

It looks like a fine ammunition digester, ready to reduce large piles of ammo into piles of brass with a lot of noise and smoke. As far as blind ssshhhh we don't use that term, to describe why we use a scope now. Scratch out blind and replace with precision shooting. Repeat after me it is for precision shooting.

Yep precision shooting. Sometimes from 50 yards with a full 20 round mag dump, but precision mind you, precision.
