New to the forum, new to the AR-10, but no stranger to the AR platform. Picked this one up last Thursday. It's an AR-TBNF. Never fired. Very pleased with this one! I traded a Kimber Eclipse II for it. Can't wait to take it out and shoot it. It won't stay unfired for long!
I think you made a good trade...saw shot while back were a major police dept boxed up all their Kimbers and shipped them back, said they wanted a refund, got it and bought Sig IIRC...
I collect 1911's, but not Kimbers. I own 20 of them! As soon as I get her to the range, I'll let you guy's know how she shoots!
And thanks for the welcome!
Unfortunately, the scope isn't of the same quality as the rifle. It's a Primary Arms 4-14 FFP mil/mil. I've never shot past 300 yards, and I'm hoping it's decent enough for me to learn on before I have to spend money on something nice.

I have learned you never know about a scope until you match and use it with a rifle. I have had dirt cheap scopes that worked for years and not so cheap scopes that had to go back to the manufacturer. When you try it you will either like it or get another, but it will serve its purpose for now.
Reviews(for what it's worth) suggests it is decent. It has four things going for it. It's FFP. It has side focus, it's mil/mil and it came with the gun as an added bonus. If it works well enough to learn a little bit, I'll be happy.
