Just got the barrel threaded and the brake on,, scope remounted ,, time to re-zero and rock and roll ,,

THANK YOU SIR !!! hoping to go run some lead down the pipe this weekend ,, she was giving me .75 moa at 300 before ,, can't wait to see how she does now,, REPORT TO FOLLOW ,, HAHAHA

Gill man, did you flute the bbl, can we get a close up of the muzzle brake or link to it?

Want a FULL report on the Rem 25, I like those, but they do not seem to be common at all, in fact never had one in my hands...

No sir,, I did not flute the barrel.. comes that way ,,
so far ,, so good ,, found out she likes to run wet,, but that goes with most gas semi's
only stretched her out to 300 yds before the barrel thread and comp install ,,
shooting 168 hpbt she was 1.5 - 1.75 moa ( honestly didn't measure but pretty close)
recoil was light before so she should really sing now ,,
report coming following this weekend

and the muzzle brake is from Larue Tactical ,, might of already said that above,,

okay ,, so it was killing me to wait ,, so late Sunday afternoon,, I called one of the guys that works for me and said,, wanna go shootin ??
so we proceeded to throw together a quick 8" gong and head out
paper silhouette shows my zero rounds ,,
all of these were standing rest shots,,
I know I know ,,, not how to dial one in ,, BUT I DIDN'T CARE FOR NOW
after the zero I laid 4 rounds into the plate,, moved to 200 and dumped another 10 rounds into it ,, then to 300 and rapped it about 10 - 12 times ( between the 2 of us )
wanted to share as everyone was excited to see the results

I have to say I'm impressed with the muzzle brake ,,
sends much more sound rearward ( as everyone knows ) but cut out 80% or more of the rearward recoil,, prone was nice also at 300 yd mark with a little but very little dust and dirt kick up,, mostly from concussion I expect

Anyway I will be doing some serious bench shooting soon ,, we'll see what kind of groups this lady will shoot ,,
