That is very interesting: The charging handle is on top inside the carry handle. Where these made by AR for other countries, when I wonder? AR 10C??

The early AR-10's and ephemera are gaining value fast, check out this 1958 manual; www.ebay.com/itm/151045506270?ssPageName...6.l2649#ht_42wt_1172

This old brochure is a pricy chunk of paper as well; www.ebay.com/itm/151046583834?ssPageName...6.l2649#ht_95wt_1142

and another; www.ebay.com/itm/Very-early-Armalite-AR1...b2d8968#ht_77wt_1142

nice to see the original black rifle starting to get some respect!

The Dutch made them for sure. Our modern Armalite made a retro model with the same type of early charging handle and the old style furniture sometime in the last couple decades, they are getting fairly desirable themselves for collectors, Armalite has extra charging handles for it on the close-out list.
There is a link in a forum thread to an old Armalite promotional video showing a belt fed example

There is a bit of history info in the thread as well.
