We have always moved vehicles by rail. We moved armored battalions back and forth from georgia to california by rail once a month when I was in the 24th ID, it has been very common for a century or better, long before anyone had phones to capture it!
The men and women of the armed forces are the MOST patriotic, constitutional minded people in the nation, they will not take part in anything that undermines these values. If they are asked to you will hear about it from them.
The REAL threat to our freedoms are the bureaucrats and politicians of the federal government. The military is all that stands between them and our freedom. Don't be distracted! Keep eyes on target!
I should clarify....It's not OUR troops :usa: and movement that concerns me....it's the other guys...and FEMA...DHS and so on...

These types of exercises have been happening regularly for decades now. The difference is the present regime relishes every opportunity to smear and sow distrust of the military. I think it is a red herring, the real concern should be the militarization of the various federal alphabet institutions that have jurisdiction inside the borders. Bureaucrats with weapons are the real danger to our Liberty.
JT is right on and in fact have been doing since LONG before I came in in '67. Back in the early 70's we were practicing "Operation Garden Plot", it was about rioting in the cities...
So far we're in August and I haven't even seen anything at all. They've flown more out of Ellington (NASA) BEFORE this whole thing kicked off. Skies have been real quiet and no sings of troops at all. The Texas State Guard did their annual good humor operation in the Rio Grande Valley this past month and that was basically all charity medical services by the Texas Military Forces (TXSG) military units. Haven't seen anything close to combat troops at all.
As I stated previously ... I don't think this was anything to worry about.
