Heartbreaking to say the least... :(

Yes. As we built out the last of the WI built Tahoes and Suburbans, I was lucky enough to be in that last remaining shift for build-out.

We realized one day that the UAW Local was lying to us, all the contract concessions we had made were NOT to possibly keep us open but to be used as a whip across the rest of GM N. America's truck platform facilities; stunning to realize you are part of the worst U.S. Labor History, while standing in it. The job losses were one thing, but realizing that it was just one ASPECT of the avalanche to come, was heartbreaking for sure.

There is so much political BS going on behind the scenes now, you cannot keep track of it all, and that is part of their plan.

Just last week here in WI the GOP Legislators refused to vote on a Bill to honor the Sandy Hook victims every Dec. 14th, in order to debate a vehicle license plate Bill which raises money for anti-abortion groups. Speaker of the House Robin Voss refused to come to the floor for discussion?

Regular and reasonable debate has gone out the window, in order to move the playing field for a team which now refuses to meet on the fields of civics-based discussions, about Bills to become law?! Shoot, regular joes cannot even assemble on WI State property w/o getting a permit first, or you will be arrested for illegal assembly.

Bizzaro history we are standing in.

Amen. Both parties have deserted us. It reminds me of a family where both parents are having a screaming arguement while the kids hide in terror that their family is being torn apart. Welcome to our country's new way of politics.
