Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday signed a controversial U.N. treaty on arms regulation, riling U.S. lawmakers who vow the Senate will not ratify the agreement.

In advance of the signing, a State Department official said the treaty would "reduce the risk that international transfers of conventional arms will be used to carry out the world's worst crimes," while protecting gun rights.

"The treaty builds on decades of cooperative efforts to stem the international, illegal, and illicit trade in conventional weapons that benefits terrorists and rogue agents," the official said.

U.S. lawmakers, though, have long claimed the treaty could lead to new gun control measures. They note the U.S. Senate has final say on whether to approve the agreement.

I think Green Day in the late 90's had a crystal ball because over the past decade this sure has been true:

"It's the end of the world as we know it"

Abbott Says Signature on U.N. Arms Trade Treaty Threatens Second Amendment Rights of Americans
Abbott prepared to lead the legal fight if the measure is ratified by the U.S. Senate

AUSTIN-Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott today rebuked the Obama administration for signing the United Nations (U.N.) Arms Trade Treaty. Saying the treaty doesn't trump the Constitution, Abbott warned that the President was taking unprecedented action when signing away liberties guaranteed by the Constitution.

Attorney General Abbott previously warned in an April 2 letter to President Obama, that if the Treaty is ratified, Texas would lead swift legal action to enforce the Constitution’s guarantee of the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

From Attorney General Greg Abbott:

"In yet another trampling of Constitutional liberty, President Obama today continued his assault on personal freedom. By signing this treaty, the Obama administration has attempted to subject Americans’ right to bear arms to the oversight of the United Nations. The very reason we fought for independence was to free ourselves from the dictates of leaders in other lands. This treaty contradicts the underpinning philosophy of our country and establishes the precedent that the UN has some level of authority to govern our lives.

"While one purpose of this treaty is to combat the illegal international trade of weapons into third-world war zones, we are alarmed that the President’s action today includes 'small arms' which could draw law-abiding gun owners and gun store operators into a complex web of bureaucratic red tape created by a new department at the UN devoted to overseeing the treaty."

"We can’t stand back and let our individual freedoms be signed away. We urge Senators to vote against this dangerous precedent. If not, Texas stands ready to lead the charge to have the treaty overturned in court."

Easy...NO ONE is going to impeach the first and only black pres, NO MATTER what he does. In fact at this point in time we could bypass impeachment and charge him with real crimes for Benghazi and some other things. He belongs in jail...THINK LA Riots

YES this IS Agenda 21 coming at ya:

Here is what I think the admin wants:

But the very fact that our Sec State signed is and indication of what this administration thinks of our constitution + plus Obama and his dictatorship + and this may be the BIGGE...Chief justice Roberts, we know what he did for Obamacare (I would pay money to listen in on the conversation between him and Obama to swing Obamacare as Constitutional...is there SOMETHING in Roberts closet????).

There is also another option: Take it to the World Court (WHO is the World Court? The UN) Let them adjudicate and we know the answer. Then it will bounce back and Congress could overturn, BUT you think Harry Reid is gonna let that happen? So it now heads to the USSC and again falls into Roberts lap.
