It is clearly stated: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Some people say, "I don't care if the government was listening to my phone calls. I have nothing to hide." ...OH OK cool, so then you won't care if your Internet browsing history is broadcast on the local news for everyone to see and judge? What would your family and friends and co-workers think? Privacy isn't about hiding dangerous information. We all have things that we would rather keep to ourselves.
Besides, how the :censored: will collecting phone call data increase national security?
1) They are using 'dragnet' style data gathering, meaning they are pulling 100% of all Americans records
2) There is no NEED for this. From a data gathering viewpoint its not needed or required. They can easily just capture all OCONUS fone calls and in fact do it by country or in country codes.
I say we ALL mess with them. Call random overseas numbers and use all those key words they like. Send email after email with those key words. Pile the shit so deep that 50 of them will run off to china rather than think about it! :censored: :banghead: :censored: :banghead: :censored:
Good citizens need to act, sooner than later. It should be obvious to all that only a very small number of our political elite are standing on our side.
Fear? They have no clue. :usa: (can we get a more serious salute?...........not much to smile about lately.)
The fact that people have become so complacent and apathetic is disturbing. None of them seem to have the will to fight anymore.
It's devious. They make it seem like there's nothing you can do. They tell you that there's no way to rebel effectively. You might as well give up.
...and people start to believe it.
When you believe you're powerless, there's literally nothing you CAN do.
There does seem to be a large gap between what people CAN do and what they WILL do. I used to think cutting off the money was the answer but that theory has been blown out of the water quantitative easing.............. :censored: I am sure that doing nothing is NOT the answer, we need to do something, anything, even if it is wrong we need to get started on the work ahead.
