I think he is stating his opinion. I can't fault anyone for doing that. God knows he has more than earned that right. I sympathize with him, and his family is in my prayers. It is truly my hope that this is HIS opinion and not words put in his mouth. Either way if he puts his name to it I think, even if he didn't write it, it's his.

My son has a close (as in kindergarten close) friend that was in Iraq as a Marine. His belief is totally different from this. He will walk with a limp for the rest of his life but has no regrets. He saw how some were treated and said we did the right thing. That's good enough in my book. But that is his opinion and maybe I choose the wrong one to believe. The fact that this is backed up by some of his buddies only strengthens my beliefs.
