I'm about 200 miles West from there and been meaning to have a look around.

Any chance of a site sponsored trip?

If someone has a video camera or "go pro" I'll record the visit. (I look like a dope on vid though)

If we are going to make this happen I'll call and set up an in depth tour, and beg for a range trip/review.

Maybe come up with a script/list of questions everyone wants answered...

It will give me a chance to pack up the 300 RSAUM and go head to head with that "Bad News" 338. I think they might freak that a rifle less than half the cost is right up their ballistically.

Maybe I could inspire them into making a proper double stack 300 RSAUM/300 WSM...

O and I have a bunch of 50 BMG ammo (I'm a licensed 06FFL) I can bring to sweeten the range trip angle.

Another Montana manufacturer of excessive caliber ARs is Nemo Arms nemoarms.com

They make a 300 Win mag AR that I KNOW I can smoke with my 300 RSAUM.

They are only 120 miles North from me.

Could do a similar visit there.

When Magpul was looking for a place outside Colorado I tried to convince them Montana was the place.

IMHO Montana is the "Silicon Valley" of large AR builders.

Now if I can just talk one of these companies into building a 408/375 Chey AR...

Also in the "Root" Missoula aria, BVAC, Cooper Arms, Barker machine works, ACI, R M Ammunition Inc, Snowy Mountain Rifle Co, and my own AKT Ammunition.

Those are just what I remember off the top of my head. There must be a dozen more that are well above what I call "Glorified Gunsmiths" and actually manufacture major components.

Like I've said elsewhere I think of this place as the "Silicon Valley" of firearms manufacture.
