Workin on it. Gonna be a few weeks yet but we'll get there... Trying to swing it "quietly" while my wife runs around making every effort to spend every penny I'll make for the next 15 years on this year's christmas presents....

OH MAN, I feels fur Yuh. Mine wifey`s not doing any shopping, juz tryin to keep up with payments and bills`z got us broke.
If it cost a nikkel to poop, I`d have to just stand around and grindum out. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I wnat to get ordered a couple of those 80% poly AR15 lowers, they`re not that much money but, there`s a couple of C.C. bills the wifeys been a chippingk aways on and hazum all most down to nuthun so I been holding off on that.
NOW, after they signed into law that ban on plasdiks, they`ll probably go after the polys too. poltiks gives Me a real bad tast in My mouth, sorta like that taste just before puke starts to blowing. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Very cool, a buddy of mine just received his Gen II 556r SIG, and I'm interested in his feedback on that piston rifle. Handled it and took it apart, excellent build.
Been waiting for more to jump into this x 39 pond as the ammo is so cheap and abundant.
I see 2 futures coming out of this development: higher quality x 39 ammo being produced, and putting a crunch on the 5.56 prices; 1/2 case of Silver Bear is $120 right now = .24 cents a round. I'd probably shoot more, or at least stop shopping the AR-22s so much.
Enjoy it while the ammo prices are lower on the x 39. Looks like a good build.

I do understand the issues that have been associated with this caliber in ARs but please read my post and then check out the site before listing them so you know what has been addressed and what has not first.
A company called CSC Arms makes an AR15 Elite, chambered in 7.62x39 which seems to fit the bill pretty nicely for my wife's needs.

I picked up a used 7.62x39 AK by Arsenal with a milled receiver. Got my Tula ammo for 21 cents a round. It has black synthetic furniture, is reasonably accurate out to 200 meters. If I had gone to 5.45 caliber, I could get ammo for 13 cents a round. Hard to beat. Not that much more expensive than 22 lr and unlike 22 lr, you can find it.
