Mine LR-308T has given me some issues. Twice it chambered a round from the mag, and when I pulled the trigger nothing happened. Well actually the hammer did fall but did not strike the primer.
ALL my ammo goes through a Wilson case gage and this has never happened on my Springfield M1A
The second issue is the EXTREMELY HARD factory trigger. I weighed the trigger to 11 lbs 3 ounces+ and STILL it won't drop the hammer. I'm now forced to spend the bucks on a replacement trigger. DPMS said 8 lbs is average, but if I sent my rifle back I'd probably get returned to me with a note that it's "In Spec"
jeez, If you get it back with a note I'd give them my 2 over the phone and to the BBB otherwise you'll have to do what it takes, get the job done and were here for support, otherwise I'll make you a private offer and you can spend the cash on the Armalite
let's see, spend a hundred bucks to make it right, or sell it at half price... Hmmm. decisions, decisions... NOT
I already ordered the JP trigger from Midway.
It just frosts my butt to deal with such crappy "service" I've called Dillon after owning a press 20 YEARS and I just about have to FORCE them to take money for spare (not replacement) parts.
I think the chambering issue could have been a dirty dry bolt.
Good decsision, but I hear you! Put a little pollish on that trigger and you will fall in love! Break at around 2 1/2-3 lbs The research and experiance on the other could need a chrome barrel from the fouling? that problem has haunted us for years.
