I'm toying with the idea of turning my 901 into a "SASS". So I'm thinking of installing a 20" Krieger. Anybody have any experience with this?

Any issues with the gas system I need to know about?

My experience with Krieger has always been top notch, they do get backed up though and orders can sometimes into a few months of it'll ship in "2 weeks". The quality is top notch and certainly going to deliver in the accuracy department.
However, the barrel I ordered (24" 5.56) I asked for them to go ahead and finish ream the chamber so I could drop it right in. Hands down the tightest match chamber I've ever seen. As soon as it got heated up, cases would get stuck. Since it was a varmint rig it was all fine as long as I could pull a quick follow up shot.

I'm not knocking the barrel, just saying be aware that it's going to be built around accuracy and it may be best to talk to them about on the phone about the chamber as it could cost you rapid fire reliability.

13 Fox says it all...Kreiger is top notch in bbls and they do make their own. Put in a call, be well worth your time...go for it and let us know...
