All the recent newbies was created by Siscowet
In the last month there have been quite a few new additions to the AR10T forum membership. As a "past newbie" But not a "Sage Forum Guru" either, I just want to say that in my opinion you new guys have brought a lot of good questions, knowledge, and observations to the forum. This is a nice mix with a lot of the established members who have a knowledge base on 308 AR's and firearms in general that is far above the quality of the average forum website. I do not include myself in that group, by the way. The point is I rarely ever log on to this web site without learning something about AR10's and the firearms world in general, and everyones contribution has made this a really enjoyable forum. So... :welcome: and thank you. :twothumbs:

What? Are a couple of em rich or something too Sisco? You looking for a below prime mortgage or somethin?? :laugh:

Really though. I have to concur with this. We have always had a quality bunch (for the most part) on here and the new members are falling right into the pack with some solid hits in all areas.

Many of the guys on here know more about our rifles than I'll probably ever know since I'm just an old head banger anyway but appreciate fine weaponry and just happen to have been around one day when the owner was handing out free passes to be a mod... :laugh:

Yes, it's true and one of these days he's going to take up my offer to rescind my mod-ship due to my being such an opinionated bastage.

I'm also here because, well, frankly, I'm incredibly handsome, suave, well cultured and just an exceptionally beautiful human being that just HAPPENS to own an AR10... :evil:

Did I mention I was handsome??? :laugh:

For sure and for you newbies, we have some of the most knowledgable folks on this forum of any AR or gun forum I have been on. Not only do they know the answer, they know WHY?

I was thinking one time about what guys might ask the Dalai Lama if they had a chance. After I thought about it myself, I honestly could only think of ONE thing to ask him:

I would ask him what he would like on his ice cream - and then share a cone with him as we sat beside the ocean and shared a view...

I have never been able to think of a single thing I would enjoy more if I was afforded the opportunity.

I am a firm believer in the fact that the only Zen you will find on the tops of mountains, is the Zen you bring up there with you - sometimes you just have to suffer a bit to find that the answers you needed were inside you all along.

The Dalai Lama does not have the answers I need to enjoy my life and appreciate my surroundings, I have found them and I can say he, among others, have played a role - and an ice cream enjoyed with such a man, would be an ice cream that would never truly melt and would be enjoyed and remembered forever.

I joined 4 years ago with a "Seeking AR-10T 300 RSAUM" post. However I recently made my second post a few weeks ago and have stayed active.

Does that make me the oldest NEWB?

Google Mas Oyama sometime.
If I can stay in a good Zen state at the range, I know I am gonna shoot well.
