Hello guys and gals,

My name is Adam. I'm currently trying to build an AR-10, but, as you might know, stuff is really hard to find at the moment. I'm looking forward to reading around and learning some stuff, meeting everyone here, and try to share what knowledge I posses.

First things first, if anyone knows of a website or company that has stuff for immediate shipping, I'd sure appreciate you sharing it with me.

I already have a complete lower that I bought late 2011. Recently I decided it would be nice to finish it up because I sold my bolt rifle and I no longer have a target gun. Pretty much looking for an AR-10(T) or National Match upper. Unless someone more knowledgeable or someone with first hand experience can point me in a different direction.

Adam, welcome, and it certainly doesn't hurt to ask! As you know, things are pretty scarce right now, but I for one will keep my eyes and ears open. Good luck with your build. You will find a lot of knowledgable people on this website, so don't be reluctant to ask questions.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been in contact with Armalite the past couple days. I'm hoping something good turns up soon. They actually had AR10A4 carbine uppers the last 2 days, but looking again today, it shows they are sold out. So somebody out there is happy. :)

Hey bud. Welcome to the forum! I'm up in Shreveburg, and we've got 2 or 3 AR-10s that we're real proud of.

Uppers come available every so often. I checked their site about three days ago and there were some available, but it looks like everything is out of stock now. My recommendation is put in an order and wait until they build you one.

Welcome to you. We have some folks on here that are truly a fountain of knowledge on AR's and not afraid to share. Good group of folks here, we cover a lot of subjects, not arguments, not throwing things at each other, man talk without trash talk, take off your hat, pull up a chair, pour a cup 'o joe and get involved...

Always great to see new members and enthusiasts joining our boards and I certainly hope you are a member, if not soon to be a member, of the NRA. We ALL need to join right now since they are in Washington and spread all over the country fighting for ALL our rights right now and every penny, name, membership and vote counts right now.

As far as building your rifle, in today's market, I would stay keeping the money at the ready and vigilance will win you your prizes. There WILL be and always are deals out there and the trick is to search search and search some more and when you find a good one, jump on it.

Prices are tough but we are ALL hoping they'll begin to ease before too long and maybe we'll all even be able to find AMMO again someday.

Glad to have you aboard and again, welcome to the site. We've got a GREAT bunch of guys on here who are always happy to help with whatever they can, whenever they can.
