I am starting to find ammo now although the prices are now 30-50% higher than before the shortage which I now refer to the time before that as B.C.--before Connecticut.
Still limited to 2 boxes on much of the more popular stuff (22LR, 22 wm), but 9mm , 45 acp ,.223 and 308 are being sold in quantity at my local store. I still can't get the 45colt cowboy loads my wife likes to shoot, so I am waiting on 45 colt RCBS dies(backordered of course)
My wife last week brought home a box of Remington "home defense ammo" for her judge. It had 10 rounds of 45 colt and 10 2 3/4 inch .410 rds in it for $32. What a rip off
