I may be wrong...but seen this before: ArmaLite is selectively dumping products thru various outlets to make it look like its the outlet selling and NOT AR having a fire sale...

After doing a web search, best guess is that Armalite's parent company is generating cash to either buy down the debt from all of last years acquisitions, or to generate cash for more acquisitions this year. They have discontinued the 308 AR 30 apparently as it is no longer on their website, but is offered for sale by CDNN. But they also have a substantial number of M-15 models for sale at CDNN as well. Something is going down. My advice : If you have been putting off getting one of these models, now is the time to move on it.

I feel like I have been caught flat footed. Can't help but speculate that some big changes are coming from armalite. It could be that they are going after the market with a different price point in a effort to capture sales for long term sales objectives, this would explain why magazines are not going out the door at fire sale prices. Only time will tell, unless you sit on the board.
