Many folks (myself included) thought that something like this would happen when the A model was introduced a couple of years ago. Like it or not, the KAC pattern magazine is the de facto standard for 308 ARs.
Even if the B model is discontinued, I'm certain Armalite will keep a good stock of parts and mags for it.

Agree, and if they want to give a great price on the B models I am all for it. Go to that link I posted, and scroll back to all the other Armalites. Great prices on all of them.

I knew (very well) a guy who made his living (and it was a GOOD one) buying and selling companies. He was wealthy many times over. When he bought his intention was to sell. He generally cleaned house of most middle and upper mgt, promoted a lot and brought in some who could sort things out. If a product line did not make good money it was gone or sold off. He typically gave all workers a week off with pay and shut the place down. Cleaned from top to bottom, replaced drinking fountains and sinks in the bathrooms, painted top to bottom inside and out. Steam cleaned everything, Replaced carpets and anything worn out. Spent thousands on landscaping. Folks showed up for work a week later and did not know the company, their workspace anything, but LOVED it!
He would have company meeting and let them air their gripes and heartburn. It was not a discussion, but letting them air out what they thought. Then he and his managers would review, make changes where/when needed.
Generally within 6 mos sometimes less the company went up for sales and he doubled and tripled his money.
