Which one Fits? was created by NightForce
With my AR-10 build officially under way, 1 category I've left open is the magazines simply because I don't know what fits the lower receiver..

The upper and lower set I have on order are MEGA's MATEN billet and upper and lower set. I've read their web page and don't see anything magazine related.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated men! :thumbs:

N Force: their website says their lowers are compatible with Knights Armament/ DPMS/Magpul-PMag magazines. Armalite Gen 2 won't work. It also says the lower is not compatible with the AR10 bolt catch.

I must be getting old because I missed this entirely. I need to pick up a few for this build and in MA I'm limited to a 10 round max....at least by regulation... :whistle:

When did you order the maga u/l and how long till you get it. Also would you PLEASE run a thread with pics or you can contact me directly on that, send me a PM and I will give you my e mail.

I want to do a build using the MEGA MATEN in NiBoron.

What bbl do you intend on using and what BCG?????

When I said AR10 bolt catch, I meant specifically the Armalite AR10 bolt catch. I would guess the JP, DPMS, and Knights Armament ones would be fine.

Hey OleCowboy,

I ordered my Mega upper and lower and in fact, everything on this list through my local shop. I have a great relationship with them and if I'm paying retail I might as well put the profit in his pocket rather than some online company.

I'm using nearly everything JP Enterprises. Their right at the top in quality and performance. I wanted this to be pretty straight forward so all the critical individual parts are from JP Enterprises.

The barrel is a medium contour 20" stainless steel. The barrel also includes a JP EnhancedBolt head-spaced for complete reliability.

Caliber: .308 Win.
Length: 20"
Gas system: Rifle-length
Twist: 1:10 button rifled
Contour: .750 under hand guard/.875 in front of gas block
Diameter at gas block: .936
Muzzle threads: 5/8"-24 TPI
Material: 416 stainless
Black Teflon Finish

This is a snapshot of my build sheet which includes item, manufacture, part number and price.

WOW, you just made my build EZZZZZZZ. Not sure on the bbl, I want my fluted so I will sort out that but the rest sounds dead on, thank you...
