Had a tough week. Had back troubles for 40 some years, finally decided to go in for surgery. Was a good thing I didn't wait any longer. My L5 stenosis was close to severing my spinal cord. Things were a real mess. A scheduled hour and a half surgery took 3 1/2'hours. Went from repairing what was wrong, to salvaging what I have. Won't know the results until it heals over the next month. Just have to wait and see.
Hoping you have a speedy and complete recovery.
When to have the surgery is something I struggle with myself, no real good answers to be had, some say do it now and some say wait till you can't stand the pain....who do you believe?????
Hope it goes well, listen to the doctors immediately following surgery can be a very important time Sisco. After that listen to the therapist and ask lots of questions. Never take for granted that everything is being taken care of the way it should, it seldom is. Hope you have a friend to motivate you daily. Keep your spirits up its only temporary. By the time you feel the warm rays of the summer sun on your face this time will be a distant memory.
