I finally located a gun club in my area! :twothumbs:
It will cost me $100 for the year but they have a club house, indoor .22 range, 200 yard rifle range, and a 35 yard pistol range. I get a key to the front gate and the indoor stuff so I can shoot sun up to sun down 7 days a week. I've got to attend a new member seminar first but then it's fire in the hole!
I've picked up 2.500 rounds of .22 in the last couple weeks at walmart as well as a few hundred rounds of extra 9's and 5.56's so I'll be able to stay busy on the weekend now Sig offered me a 22 conversion for my MK25 at 20% off so I'll be able to shoot the new off it, and the rust off of me!
 Damn, just remembered I left the AR-10 at home last trip..... got to remedy that, maybe the wife will come visit......she doesn't need to know the real reason I want her to come down
Man I'm stoked, can you tell  :usa:
Libertarian623 wrote: That sounds like a awesome deal JT. A 100.00 a year and a key , I don't see how that can get any better. Well tell them you want a 600m range.
OKOKOK, I need to get in and get My range membership paid, We have it real nice here, $35.00 a year but everything is out of doors. Goeas out to 200yds also too. :cowboy:
Not much for pictures but what I see looks nice. I'm bringing the MK25 with me Thursday in case the orientation is done and there is any light left to shoot by :woohoo:
Just read they have a resident ex-SEAL that teaches classes, sounds more and more like my kind of place! :usa:
Just spent 4 hours at the range  :woohoo:
It was raining but it didn't bother me a bit! 400 rounds of .22, 250 9mm, and 120 5.56, my fingers hurt from loading mags :twothumbs:
I love that Sig MK25, went through the 9mm without a hitch and made big ragged holes in the target, the 22 conversion for it gave me some tap and rack practice when I shot the cheaper bulk ammo but shot the high priced stuff without issue. I need to find 22 mags for it that hold more than 10.
I'm gonna have to rethink my budget and make room for more ammo! :usa:
