Here are a couple pics of my 11 year old granddaughter shooting my 1911. She loves it and is pretty accurate for a beginner. Wish we had some competitions in our area, I'm sure she would do well.

She had been shooting my 22/45 for awhile but said she wanted to"shoot the big one". She almost lost her grip on the first shot but just looked over at me with a grin and bore down. The recoil doesn't bother her a bit!
She makes me ammo poor but proud as a peacock! :twothumbs:
Amen on that, she's a straight A student so I don't get away with much when it comes to pulling her leg. She just signed up as a member here, Bhoffman, I messed up and put her picture in the lifetime members section though so she can't get to it.
She has shot my AR-10 some and did fine but she loves running through a mag on the Sig PM400, just her size. Only wish I could be around to spend more time with her now, I know there won't be much time for grandpa as those teen years arrive.
