Cowboy, I see why you miss it. Below is me standing in my front yard. I walked down an old logging road in 1988 and found this lot with a hand painted for sale sign for $15,000. Now they go for $290,000. I will always live here part of the year, but winters are getting tougher to take all the time. We have a second home near a big city, but it isn't far enough south. Buying this lot was the best money I ever spent, other than for my marriage liscence.

Fishin rock: Water is straight down over 110 feet, sit here and fish. My land actually was out over the lake by about 6 feet or so as my land was where the Brazos river hit the side of the the hill and cut it out to make the lake, which is about 20 miles long or so. Beautiful place, sure miss it...

In the bay up to 80 degrees on a hot summer. Out of the bay 68 degree surface. Middle of the Lake 100 miles out, 46 degree surface middle of the summer.
