I recently acquired this gun in a trade. It has certification papers with it from Colt, stating it was manufactured in 1908( they were made from 1902 to 1908) and sold at a store in Chicago. It is in excellent condition, but someone professionally reblued it. It has the more desireable round trigger.
I am looking to get a fair price. They are worth over 2k in original condition, but I assume the rebluing has lowered the value some. If anyone is interested make an offer. If you don't like the gun, return it and I will refund your money
I am told ammo is no longer available for this, but 38super cases can be loaded light to shoot safely in the gun if anyone wanted to do that with a rare antique. I am computer impaired, but will try to download a photo if anyone is interested.
