I was watching Tactical Impact on spmn channel last night and they profiled the Knight's armament guns and their new carbine. Base on what they said it seems to have some advantages over the armalite 10tcbnf, but I looked it up and saw the going price right now is $5100.
Below is the verbage Knight puts out on it.
"The new Enhanced Match (E.M.) Carbine is the natural evolution of the original SR-25 Battle Rifle/Carbine and the advanced technology elements taken from the Army's M110 Sniper Rifle Program and KAC's continuous attention to product detail. Some of these new developments include changing the timing of the gas system and improving the bolt unlocking enviroment which ensures a more positive cartridge case ejection. KAC also reduced the felt recoil impulse for faster follow-up shots. These substantial changes have created a much more reliable and robust system."
I like the rail system on it, but asside from that and that at least according to them, tolerances were tweeked to make it more reliable I can't ever see paying that when armalite offers this 10T carbine.
FYI , Knight said on the show that the army pays $11,000 for the rifle system that includes rifle with Leupold scope mounted, suppressor, case, 6 20 rd magazines, 6 10 rd magazines, cleaning equipment, scope covers, and a few misc items.
Any thoughts from you folks out there who have used the Knight guns ??
one other thing, given the prices on knight's weapon system, seems the army could've saved a lot of money going with Armalite.
Also this convinced me, so I've got my firearms dealer looking for an Armalite AR10 Tcbnf today.
Thanks UncleArmaLite. My dealer in Tulsa was able to order me a AR10T Carbine from the second wholesaler that you suggested. Should have within the week.
