Sorry about the problems guys but after the hacking thing, I'm guessing there might still be a few bugs hanging around that Martin will be running in to. Hang tough. I'm certain he's doing all he can to keep us all happy.
The system stuff he's working on is beyond my access.

1) Do a complete backup
2) Launch a new Forum and engage all the settings etc, but its ONLY a working non-op forum at this time.
3) IF the forum engine will do this: Import your data fields only. This would be posts, member data etc etc, BUT not your engine settings.
4) Launch new forum and it should be good to go (if it will do this)
I sure wish I could get your help with my fancy new govt. computer! Stupid thing wont let me log on and an afternoon on the phone with the IT people did nothing but give me a raging headache :banghead: It has me thinking about a scotch and water for sure!

JT would certainly be glad to help you out.
For you Apple Macintosh users out there. Don't know if I was the very first guy to bring Macs into Govt or in this case DoD/Army space. This was in early '85. Over the years till I retired I brought $millions of dollars worth of Macs and did my best to promulgate them across DoD. I made great strides because I was an IT Program Manager and had a lot of influence. I was one of the few, FEW that put forth the effort to force client server architecture and drag the 'dumb' terminal also known as 'green screen' off the end users desk and get a real computer on there.
Since I retired in '94 I suspect that much has been lost. I personally know of 2 major ($ Billion) buck projects that were scrapped due to systemic failure of those who were in charge. Were it left up to them all would revert back to mainframes and green screens.
