Coke, the REAL DEAL...Order up a case from the Netherlands, the only place in the world that still makes coke according to the pre war formula. Not cheap, last case I got was about $40 bucks but WOW, took me back to my early days in the 50's when a Coke was a Coke and a real drink.
Ya know what's funny is I've been drinking diet coke since I was wrestling in high school and soda with sugar in it, to me, would be like you grabbing a can of stinkin "Tab" and and trying to convince yourself it's delicious..
Remember that soda? Yea, it was gross even for a diet soda drinker but real soda is like that to me now. I just can't do it although it would be nice to be able to sometimes...
LOL, down here in S Texas buying REAL Mexican Coke is easy, its at every connivence store, restaurant we have and its not the same as the coke you drink, it uses REAL SUGAR, NOT corn syrup etc...
One of the most requested things for me to bring home from Texas was REAL Dr. Pepper, it wasn't always around but they would label it made with the original recipe and it tasted great, like I remember as a five year old!

Don't even get me started on this....
You are talking about Dublin Texas Dr Pepper, well they stuck to the original formula, used real sugar and they were the only one in the US to do it. Well they built up a global business, the Dr Pepper which started in Waco got sold, big wall street gets involved and JERKS there franchise that went back to 1891!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't feel bad. The same thing happened with Mountain Dew in VA/TN.
