Hi. After loving the retro look of these for years, I finally managed to acquire one of the AR-10B versions of the AR-10. Here it is, with a mid-1960s vintage Bushnell Scopechief Command Post 3x9 scope mounted on it:

And I do have a couple of questions; does anyone know what the dates, number produced, and serial number ranges these were made in were? I remember them being out a pretty long time ago, but I never could seem to work it out to get one until now. I had been thinking about trying to do a "retro" build on it to get it nearer to the Sudanese look, but I don't want to mess up a rare rifle in its own right IF these are as rare as I think they are. Anyone have any numbers/dates or other info on them? Thanks.
