How strong are these forearms? Could I install a carbon fiber forearm and use a bipod?
I'm most pleased with the barrel's accuracy so I don'r want to replace the factory barrel with a barrel of lesser diameter to reduce weight.
Jim, They make sportbike wheels out of Carbon Fiber. Extremely strong material
and very light, thus reducing unsprung rotating weight which equals better handling.
If companies like PRI make a quality product, I am thinking they should be all of the above and should stay cool also. I am considering them myself.

Thanks

they are quite strong...maybe not as strong as aluminum in some way...but in others they are...and remember this if anything...
They are making "Barrels" out of Carbon Fiber...with a steel liner...so that should give you some indication as to the durability and strength...
Just my .25 worth....but I agree...if YOUR barrel is doing it's job...well,
if it anin't broke...don't fix it....LOL
