Hello all. I have an Armalite AR-10. I'm not sure which model it is, but I think it's the A4B, I have included a couple of picks. I took the lower apart to clean everything and after putting it back together, the weapon will fire when 'safe' is selected. All springs and detents are present and installed. I feel like it has something to do with the hex driven screw under the pistol grip retaining screw, or the much smaller hex screw on top of the FCG. It seems like this will be an easy fix, I just have no idea where to start. Anyone have any advice for changing out the gas rings? Thanks in advance.

Well you gave me the idea to compare my fcg to the ones offered on Armalite's website. (THANKS!) Nothing looked even remotely similar so i did a search for adjustables and figured out I have the JARD #1053 single stage trigger. After reading through some instructions, I figured out what the problem was and easily fixed it. I'm not sure if I am happy with the JARD or not. I need to spend some time fine tuning it to see if I can get it where I want.
Next problem: It will fire boxer primed rounds made in the US, but not berdan primed russian (bear, wolf etc...) It leaves quite an impression on the berdan primer, but doesn't finish the job. Boxer primed rounds work flawlessly. My Saiga's chew through the same ammunition effortlessly.
It sounds like your rifle was set up for competition. So the hammer spring is probably not strong enough to hit the striker hard enough to set off "military grade" primers. I'm almost certain that the Wolf and Bear ammo uses Military grade primers. That's why U.S. commercial ammo will fire fine, but the Russian stuff won't.
I would start there first. Find a new hammer spring and try it out. You might call JARD, describe your issue, and they might be able to suggest which one to get.
