I'd like to install a bayonet lug on my new AR-10 A4BF. On Armalite's site I see; "M15/AR10 GAS BLOCK BAYONET LUG WITH ORING. Item Number: 15806255KIT".

Is this the part I want?
How difficult is it to install?
I'm pretty handy with tools, but don't want to screw anything up.
Remove the hand guards and place the upper up side down on a flat surface. Make sure the muzzle is off the edge of the flat surface so only the picatinny rail of the gas block and upper is touching the surface. Use the tapered shoulder of the barrel to index position of the gas block. Slide the bolt by hand to make sure the gas tube doesn

Cool. Thanks!

Armalite used the small gorilla wrench on the cap screws, so it was no problem to remove them with the shorty allen wrench. In this next photo I have inserted the O-ring into the depression in the bayonet lug adapter and slid (slid!) the adapter into the gap in the gas block. It went in easy except for the resistance of the O-ring.

Total time to do the job was about 5 minutes, three of which I spent looking for the correct size allen wrench. The bayonet lug mod is a no-brainer, and I feel like a real wus for worrying about it.
Charlie (is expecting his Phrobis M9 to arrive tomorrow)
