Question about removing the stock on a RRA LAR-8 was created by piniongear
If this is not the correct place to list this question, pardon me.
I have a RRA LAR-8 Varmint on order and maybe I will get it within 2 months from now.
I bought the rifle (20 inch barrel) with the standard A2 stock.
I also ordered the 6 positon stock in case I prefer that. It also will make the gun shorter for carry.
Anyway, my question is this:
I have the wrench needed to remove the lock ring on the stock. But do I need some kind of vise to hold the gun while I remove the nut?
If so, could someone please post a pic of what I may need so I can either buy or make one?
I am brand new to AR type weapons, never having even held one before 3 days ago. So sorry if this is a stupid question.
