I just received a maglula for my Springfield M1A. Works Great! Is there a maglula for my Armalite AR-10? The maglula for the M1A hooks on the mag block on the back of the M1A mag. The Armalite does not have the blcok on the back of the mag. Maglula lists a FN/FAL 308 Lula, will this work on the Armalite AR-10 mag?
The folks that make the Maglula, told me they didn't make one yet that would work on an AR10 mag. Weren't the first generation mags converted from the M1A mags tho? I'm curious whether that one might work...
Actually I believe the Gen 1s were M-14 mags....
I have to say out of all the "GOOD" things about the AR-10, finding those thing-a-mabobs and do-hickies are tough. I personally just practiced till my fingers hurt and developed a pattern to load the AR-10 mags...but if you need something such as that Do-Hicky... You might try
www.galatiinternational.com/
They carry one for the 7.62x51....
The Cammenga.....they have 3 types for the .308---one for the HK-91,FN FAL and the M-14....
The second choice would be just to buy some stripper clips in 10 round length....
I would go with the stripper clips myself...easier to carry the ammo after you load the clips...so my advice is to look for things for the M-14 mags...they might work....
Just my two pennies...
