Gun Parts Coating

A while back I read an article about a coating that was applied to internal gun parts like the bolt and interior of the upper that reduced friction and made the parts move really smooth. The name of it escapes me but I'm thinking it was "NP" something. Has anybody else got any idea what it's called? Any idea if it works?

Thank you. What do you mean by "don't get any ideas"?

POF uses it on their uppers, bcg and charge handles according to their site.

POF does not offer coating services but a company called Robar does. They are advertising a special in May, the NP3 coating of AR BCG's for $115 w/coupon(reg. $145) from their site. The advert says for AR15's but they told me that price covers AR10's too.

I was reading up on Ni3B a nickel boron coating for the ar-15 and other pieces parts. Coating is said to replace lubrication in the AR platform.
