Armory lower that has an Armalite Super Sass upper on it. The entire gun supposedly only has three rounds through it. It also has a Trijicon Accudot? 3x9x40 scope along with the one-piece Armalite mount. The gun looks as new and all Armalite paperwork including the fake suppressor comes with the deal. Is $2400.00 a fair price with the NON-Armalite lower on the gun? I need to decide buy tomorrow so any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Well first of all if you have not been welcomed yet...WELCOME! I see that you are making your self at home asking questions which is awesome! That is what we are here for.
As far as your question on there website they "look" like good guns but i dunno if they really are...sorry
The Iron Ridge is a billet machined vs a forged lower. As far as I know they are decent lowers. Don't get too much brain warp over the machined Vs. forged carp.
The price seems a little steep but I remember when a dollar was worth thirty-five cents.... :side:
That scope may be 1/3rd of the package. Google Trijicon and see what th MSRP is for the glass.
I may be showing my age here but a good aftermarket, match barrel is $600, an upper is $200 plus, a lower, ready for an upper is $500 anyway...$250 for a stripped reciever, lower kit w/o trigger $60, good trigger $200+...
You couldn't build one new for that if the price for that scope is over a grand.
Thanks for the reply. I checked Iron Ridge, Armalite and Trijicon websites and I came up with: Iron Ridge complete lower w/ magpul stock $899.00, Trijicon Mildot Accudot 3x9x40 $815.00; Armalite Super SASS upper $1814.00, Armalite one-piece scope mount $100.00= $3548.00 + tax. Of coures this is all at MSRP pricing.
The good news is I talked with him again after posting my question and he "offered" to take $2200.00 if I would pay cash today,15 April.
It appears I am trying to justify something I really don't need as I already have an AR-10T with a Swarovski on it. I wish I knew more about Iron Ridge Armory incase I am the one that needs to sell. In these uncertain times I just don't want to get stuck with something that I would loose money on. Anymore advice? Thanks.
Iron Ridge is good quality and great customer service. I think if you take that package you'll be very happy with it. That's also a great price for the kit, by the way.
I have 2 Armalite AR10 Stripped lowers that I need to sell if that would make you feel better about the deal. I also have several (5 I think) 25 or 30 round 2nd Gen magazines I need to sell (I live in CA so I left these evil parts with my parents in Indiana).
I'm also open for trades... I want:
a couple 5 round magazines
a long (>=20") SS barrel
an upper with Forward Assist
2 stage trigger / Lower Parts Kit
