I read about them in the last issue of American Rifleman....well they mentioned that they had it in the works along with the SIG 516...I will be interested to see and hear about it....we may have a new kid on the block.....
I was going through some of these threads again and I got to reading some of the other posts on that site and found I guess Bushmaster has joined the ranks with it's own version of the AR-10.
At this rate, we are going to have to have some sort of shooting contest to see which one is best....
The Bushmaster rifle is based on the DPMS magazine design. The big news with the Sig the fact they are compatible with ArmaLite magazines. This could give rise to one of 2 possibilities. 1) Antitilt followers being developed for the ArmaLite magazines. 2) A whole new magazine that is compatible with ArmaLite rifles. Either one is a plus.
TR what about the A.I. AR-10 (artillerie Inrichtigen) a licensee that refined and improved the AR-10, and produced the first rifles sold to military units, the Sudan, Portugal, and Italy to name a few, Armalite has been through a lot of hands and only lately has been a manufacturer. is it true that the refinements that A.I. made, have not been incorporated by armalite
