I currently have a M70 in .260 REM shown below, and often thought it would be fun to be able to shoot this round in my AR. I see that Armalite formerly made a flat top upper in .243 or 6mm.
What is the best way to proceed; get the 6mm upper and rebarrel it or have someone build a new upper complete?
I just finished my rifle with the help of MSH. If you contact him through this site, I think the parts are available. I am really happy with my rifle and am trying to figure out how to afford my next build! Good luck, RandR.
