Hi guys, BMS here. Went out shooting on 9/14 at the local range and shot some videos of the event, thought I would share. The owner of the range (Arcadia Marksmen Club, Beemer NE.) was kind enough to let me use the range for the videos. It is a really nice range, I am going to have to save my $$$$ and join.
Anyway, grab a cup of coffee or a pop and some popcorn and enjoy the show.
Hope you all will like it.............................
Hey I watched them and it was more entertaining than watching the boob tube. he is better with the rifle than he is with the camera though. (couldn't resist that comment, Pierre)
my wife and I watched it together while sipping marguerita's. got her to want to go shooting herself this weekend with her FNAR( she's only shot it twice in the last 6 mo).
What range was that rifle sighted in for? did you adjust the sights for the longer range? sorry if you mentioned that on your you-tube. After a few marguerita's, I may have missed some of those details
Well guys I am glad you enjoyed them, I hope to do more vids in the future.
Edge, thanks for the personal message. (happy face)
Donkey, the scope is a Leupold Mark 2 6x18x40 AO in a LaRue QD LT-135 mount, (see article in articles) the ammo (also in the article) for this shoot, I was using Hornady 168 gr A-Max for the 100 and 200 yard shots, I used Hornady 168 gr. TAP on the 300 and 400 yard targets.
Foxhunter, yes the shooter is better with the rifle than the camera, hands down on that,,,,,LOL. Actually there were two segments that I forgot to turn the camera on, which bites, one of them I did two 20 round mag follow ups CRE---close range engagement---as for the sighting on the scope, it is sighted in at 100 yards and I use the Mil-dot in a hold over to shoot the longer targets, I don't think I mentioned that in the vids, it was only my third time filming, Sesal B De mill I'm not (yet) hahahaha. Glad you liked.
I hope that it was informative too, if any one would like any info on the Shepard scopes I mentioned, PM me and I will do my best to supply what I can, they are really great scopes for ranging, and I hope to make one of them my next purchase.
