I choose a screwed up time to attempt to rebarrel my Armalite AR-10T. The 20 inch unthreaded bull barrel needs to go. I’m looking at a 16 or 18 inch barrel but Armalite no longer keeps stuff in stock and there isn’t any after market support for Armalite Ar-10s anymore. I’ve heard of successful barrel swaps utilizing dpms pattern barrel and bcgs and ar15 length gas tubes and keeping the Armalite upper and lowers. Thoughts?

What is the problem with the barrel ? You can go to AR 10 AR compatible reference guide maybe they can help

That will work, as long as you bolt and barrel are the same pattern. Have you tried calling Armalite? I have seen people have some luck with that since they got set up in Arizona.
