I recently acquired #US5240x. 20” stainless heavy barrel (unmarked) with a drilled/pinned 1913 gas block. Armalite / SAC sure ain’t what they used to be. I’ve emailed without response and called / transferred left messages with no reply..
Research has told me the bbl is 1-11.25 twist. Anyone have serial number date info? I’m guessing its’97-‘98.
Thank you.

Juan @ SAC just now emailed. Receiver made in July 1997. He also said the brake was not pinned/welded because the bbl is longer than 14”. Lol....i guess he’s too young to remember the bad old days of the AWB.....
I have de-banned it, installed an A1 length stock, and painted the exposed bbl as it was not aesthetic to me....too shiny....
