Folks ... I may be wrong but it appears the shopping car feature of the new ArmaLite website may now be functional. I just clicked on the AR10 green furniture set to add to cart (without logging in) and 1 item popped up in my cart. I then clicked on the link and there it was.
Their prices are the same as DGS's prices, except when DSG offers 10% off.
Finally! I see not every part is cartable yet but when I put a bolt catch in my cart it worked. Best of all the shipping is a more reasonable $5 flat rate, instead of the $16 they used to want to ship an extractor spring!
Looks like they are going to get the tech notes back as well, at least there is a page for them, hope they put the ALL back up!
ArmaLite showed to be out of stock on the Field Repair kit and 2-stage trigger but DSG had them in stock so with the 10% current weekend discount I ordered both late last night from DSG.
Still contemplating the A2 stock from ArmaLite. Unfortunately DSG does not sell this.
Cannot seem to make up my mind to stick with the all black or to enhance with the ArmaLite green.
I always like a little bit of enhanced camouflage when available.
Duracoat  Sprayed a 1911 slide and I'm impressed  It's a must to follow directions! go to Brownells and watch the video, just click the link at the top of this page. I have run over 600 rounds thru her and no scratches or chips. But I do take care of my guns, and I'm sure its not a perfect fit for everyone. As far as finishes go it does beat the Krylon I put on a AK, Duracoat just a harder tougher finish. Plenty of colors to chose from, as they say ya get what ya pay for, it is pricey :usa:
Also learned the hard way don't spray any moving parts or holes grooves and such :S ya would think that would be common sense, but when you get in a hurry bad things happen :pinch:
After further consideration I think I'll just order the regular A2 stock set and keep the black rifle concept.
Time to figure out how to get some range time in. I haven't had any in months. Been working my aging ass off and everything closes by the time I get home and get my weapons. :pinch:
Even more items are available on the site AND ....wait for it.......
FREE shipping on orders of $100 or more!
Looks like they figured it out, now I can order some of the parts I need for my Matrix build and not feel ripped off!
