I have an older model ar-10 without forward assist and had a question for Armalite. They can do some updates on extrctors, ejector, and some other things I can't think of right off hand. It's their standard upgrade. It runs somewhere around $150 I think.

Anyway, they replied to me about it and added that they didn't have a record of my rifle being built. They couldn't find anything on it.

quote:

"I tried to look up your serial number USA580xxx and cannot locate it".
Contact the repair department if you want the standard upgrade.
at extension 126 or email them at psd@armalite.com to get this info.

Man! What's the deal with that? I haven't replied to them yet.

I have an Eagle Arms AR10, but, I have not tried a S/N lookup on it.
I did find a site to check S/Ns for My 1917 Enfield and found it was built July of 1918.
I think I will give it a try, about the S/N on My AR10.
Also, for the early Eagle Arms AR rifles, Armalite may not have S/Ns on those.
Mine too, does not have a forwards assist.

Yes, you are correct. It is Eagle Arms AR10 "division of Armalite", I think it reads.

I have one of these guns and contacted the folks at Armalite. They had no problem giving me the run down on my gun. Sorry they have no record of yours. Here is mine:

I have a Super Sniper scope on her and she is very accurate using NATO commercial ammo.
