Like I stated " they do not NEED" to be of the same manufacturer.

However, due to past experience, I can not, will not, recommend DPMS. I have always used Colt bolt carrier groups in AR15s, and use Armalite bolts and Armalite or Noveske barrels.
I do not buy junk, life is too short to squander money on crap that needs replaced or simply does not last.

Pookybear308. I was just going to say Noveske as well. The stuff is High $ But from what I have seen in a friends rifle. Very, Very nice. But will I think still need to have a Gun smith set things up , So that Your head spacing is correct, With bolt lugs locked up. This is what I have been told from Armalite.
