Hello friends,

I have a trade in the works for what is reported to be an AR-10T. I have a good deal of experience in the AR15 platform but not so much with the 308 AR's. I'm hoping you could look over the photos and tell me if theres anything I should be concerned about.

The current owner put the PRS stock on it and tells me it came with the carbine stock. Appears to be a carbine lower and a rifle upper, so I highly doubt this is a factory rifle, or could it be? Upper looks to be correct Armalite, would you agree? Anything else I should check or find out before doing the deal?

What do you think this would have sold for 2 months ago? The trade value is $2500 which seems par for the course in the current market I think. Again, I'm well versed in the AR15 world, this is relatively new to me.

I couldn't see your pic but I don't try to guess value in the current market. I do not know of armalite ever selling rifles with carbine stocks, but they did make the 10T in a carbine.

Me neither. I can't even BEGIN to get my head around some of the prices I'm seeing at my LGS and on GunBroker. 2000 bucks for a Sig 556? Gimme a break.
