so I'm just becoming more familiar with this bamf. Really quite new to the whole rifle thing and this is what I've ended up with so far. Ar 10t w 22" ss barrel, mounted a Burris a peper scope mount, w a vortex crossfire ii 3-9 x 50 illuminated recital scope, Daniel defense 1 o'clock off set mount with a vortex sparc red dot, an ergo grip tactical deluxe grip w palm shelf, and a magpul prs stock.
Have only sent 100 rods through her, all being federal fusion 200g they seem to group well .7 moa
Am wondering if I should send all the other grain bullets down range ? I've read conflicting info on the most accurate rounds, however are $26 / 20 rds for fusion and close to $40 /20 rds for the partsion, accu bond, and the Barnes tx shock rds, I'm not sure if I really need to test
Congrats on the new rifle purchase. The good thing about .338 Federal and ARs is if you don't want to shoot .338, you can simply buy an Armalite upper in .308. Much cheaper than having to buy a completely new rifle. And, since the lower is serial numbered part, uppers can be mailed right to your doorstep.
