Hello World,

In anticipation of receiving my ar10t a few weeks back, I had posted questions that a newb would ask.

1. What scope to get
A: Leupold Mark IV 3.5x10x40 specific to my .308 caliber
2. At what range should I zero the scope
A: 100 yards
3. What ammo works best
A: Federal Gold Medal Match .308 168gr Sierra Matchking BTHP

So now I got my rifle, the above scope, and the above ammo. . . < GRIN >
I now consider myself a level 2 newb ;)

The rifle did all the work and with sandbag help, I achieved quarter groupings at 100yards.
As expected with this equipment, no issues occured
The rifle does love the lube which I use Hopps #9

Thank you again for getting my feet wet and giving sound advise that has not let me down.
This is just the beginning of a long and memorable time with "Annabelle".

I hope to learn as much as I can about baby and help others in turn.

See now I don't have an issue with lube and ya'll will most likely think I am nut's but I have used P B Blaster for years to clean and lube. I use it on everything from my black power to 45 ,and my AR-10.
